The Prince George Airport (YXS) is introducing a daily, nonstop service from Prince George to Calgary, starting March 14th, 2018.
The service returns to Prince George, thanks to the new regional air service, WestJet Link.

Passengers flying nonstop from YXS to Calgary will board WestJet's fleet of 34-seat Saab 340B aircraft.
"We are very excited to have non-stop service between Prince George and Calgary again with service provided by WestJet and Pacific Coastal Airlines," stated John Gibson, President and CEO of the Prince George Airport Authority.

In an attempt to stay competitive with other carriers in Canada, WestJet is expanding to locations that may have been previously overlooked.
“All of us at Pacific Coastal Airlines are excited and proud to be entering this relationship with WestJet,” stated Quentin Smith, President, Pacific Coastal Airlines.

Flights will operate under a capacity purchase agreement (CPA) with Pacific Coastal Airlines and hopes to be the connection to more regional communities like Lethbridge, Lloydminster, Cranbrook, Medicine Hat and Prince George.
