We ran a poll asking our readers if BC businesses should be allowed to sell cocaine after uncovering a story about a BC cannabis company that was granted approval to sell cocaine.
A few days later, the company retracted part of their statement.
The majority of our readers who put in a vote said no.
12% of voters said yes, 86% said no, and 2% said unsure.
Here’s what they had to say:
NO ABSOLUTELY NOT
OMG what next? vending machines at schools Where did all the common sense go to?
It's an illegal drug. Should stay as one
What is the legal use of cocaine? This will only make these stores a target for theft.
absolutely not… that is just making goverments and their outlets legalized drug dealers!!!!
At least it is not free…yet. Why shouldn't non addicts not be able to get clean source drugs ?
My first though is this is absolutely crazy, but second thought is I feel this would be a way to make sure the coke is clean and clear of fentanyl in hopes of less overdoses
Absolutely. Just so long as 100% purity is guaranteed. The current criminalization of recreational drug sales GUARANTEES there is NO regulation of quality / purity such that many more will die. Our governments are complicit in this war on our citizens and WILL eventually be sued for their direct and intentional role in so many needless deaths.
