Polaris Montessori Elementary School was on top of it today as they held a precautionary Hold and Secure. 

At approximately 12:55 p.m., RCMP recommended the school initiate the Hold and Secure after they received a threat on Friday.

Parents were contacted by school staff to limit entry in and out of the building, but the all-clear sign was, eventually, given at 2:30 p.m. 

RCMP determined that students are safe to report to school as usual starting Tuesday morning. The SD73 Critical Incident Response Team will be available in the event that the students experience difficulties because of the incident. 

Police are still investigating to find the exact nature of the threat.
