The Okanagan's sky this evening looked as though a classic sepia filter had been placed over it.

The sky's yellow orange tint had an eerie apocalyptic feel, with ash even falling from above at one point. 

Thankfully, the effect is likely not from the apocalypse (fingers crossed), but rather the several wildfires that continue to burn throughout southern B.C.
