It was a beautiful Thanksgiving Sunday on the island, and the perfect day to run in the Royal Victoria Marathon.
Despite only offering the 8 km race and half marathon this year, thousands of participants came out to compete for top times and medals.
NowMedia sent a reporter on the run to do his best to capture some of the best moments from the races.

For those wondering, Reid Muller had the top time in the men's 8 km race with 24 minutes exactly. The runner-up was Kevin Friesen who finished in 24 minutes and 10 seconds.
Sarah Inglish had the fastest time for women. She ran the 8 km in 25 minutes and 35 seconds
In the 21 km race, Matthew Travaglini took home the gold with a time of one hour, six minutes and 44 seconds. Brendon Wong was the runner-up, finishing nine seconds behind Travaglini.
Leanne Klassen had the top time for women. Her gold medal race was run in one hour, 17 minutes and 15 seconds.
