PHOTOS: Canada’s best outdoor hockey rinks are on display

Canadians are proudly displaying their outdoor hockey rinks on Twitter right now.

A call out by TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger for people to share a photo of their homemade rink was quickly answered with dozens of spectacular responses.

Dreger is actually an experienced outdoor rink builder himself and started the tradition after people continuously reached out to him on Twitter for tips.

As a result, his Twitter feed looks something like an outdoor rink inspiration board and it surely makes you want to bust out the skates, sticks and mitts.

Don't forget that Canada begins its gold medal journey this Thursday, Dec. 26, at the World Junior Champions against the United States.

The game starts at 10 am PST.
