Canadians are being told to practice social distancing and to stay home, but not all of us are able to do that.
Health care workers are busy fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, and they have an important message for the rest of us that will make their jobs a lot easier.
Vancouver Coastal Health shared a post on Twitter with photos of several health care workers holding signs asking people to stay home.
“I stayed at work for you. You stay at home for us,” the sign reads.
“Help us stop the spread of #COVID19 by staying home and social distancing,” said the health authority in a tweet.
“Thank you to the incredible Emergency Department (ED) team at VGH for sharing this message.”
Bc is under a state of emergency due to COVID-19. In order to limit transmission of the virus, people are being told to practice social distancing and not to gather in groups larger than 10 people.
