Penticton’s weekend forecast is looking rainy and overcast

Time to bust out the board games and cozy blankets.

It looks like Penticton is in for a rainy weekend. Today is expected to remain overcast, with showers developing late this afternoon. Environment Canada says there’s risk of a thunderstorm as well.

Periods of rain are expected to continue through the night and into Saturday and Sunday, with the weather cooling off a bit.

The forecast doesn’t call for sun again until Tuesday, and until then Penticton is expected to have daytime highs in the upper teens.
