Osoyoos RCMP have identified a 22-year-old Peachland resident involved in a serious assault on Dec. 14.
Police say they are now in a position to provide details about the assault that occurred just before midnight near a pub on Cottonwood Drive.
Earlier in the evening, video surveillance shows the 31-year-old victim socializing with three other men and one woman in the pub.
The victim departed before the others who left shortly after, however, he only made it a block from the establishment before getting into a physical altercation with the two men he was socializing with earlier.
During the altercation, one of the men struck the victim in the head with a wine bottle.
One of the two men involved with committing the assault has been identified as a 22-year-old Peachland resident and police are continuing to look for the other man.
That man is being described as:
- approximately 6’1 tall"
- early to mid twenties
- medium length light brown hair
- possible goatee
- slim
- wears glasses
- was wearing red hoodie with the word ‘OBEY’ in white across the front
- dark pants
- rubber boots
