If you can’t win the Stanley Cup on home ice, Vegas is a pretty legit second option.
It’s the only place you would see Alexander Ovechkin centre stage in the club, dancing beside world famous DJ Tiesto with Lord Stanley’s mug proudly raised overhead.
Ovechkin had played over a thousand games, scored over 600 goals and taken plenty of criticism over the years before finally winning it all.
Well known for his on ice passion, you could just feel the excitement as he finally raised the Stanley Cup.
What a moment.

The legendary Russian sniper also seemed pretty stoked to drink from the cup.

While all eyes were on Ovie, the rest of the Washington Capitals were having fun tearing up the Vegas nightlife as well.

However, last night was really all about Ovechkin and his well-deserved championship.
