You know that feeling that you get right before you do something totally crazy and scary? That feeling right before you tell your long time crush how you feel about them, or right before you hop on a plane and move to a brand new city. You know, that feeling right before the Primal Swing at WildPlay Element Park lets you drop and swoop over 110 feet in the air, at up to 140 km/hr. No, not the feeling of your lunch coming back up – we mean the feeling of pure adrenaline!

KelownaNow had the opportunity to head out to WildPlay Element Park on Highway 33 to test out the Do-It-All Deal, which includes DragonFLY Ziplining, the Monkido Adventure Park, the What’s To Fear Jump, and the Primal Swing. The experience was one of a kind, and let us tell you, it wasn’t the experience that we were expecting.
First of all, the guides at WildPlay were one of the best things about the park. While many adventure or theme park staff don’t always show much enthusiasm for their job, the guides at WildPlay were the exact opposite. Meggie, Logan, Ceidleigh, and Trent clearly loved their jobs and loved sharing the experience with us. WildPlay isn’t just a job to them, it’s a part of their lifestyle.

Another thing that we were not expecting: how physically demanding WildPlay can be! The core work involved in the DragonFLY Ziplines and the upper body strength required for the Monkido Adventure Course came as a surprise, but a good one! Wouldn’t you rather fly high above the trees and challenge yourself to balance on the course instead of doing burpees?
When you want to play more and fear less, Wildplay is the perfect adventure. The thrill and adrenaline of WildPlay Element Park make for a one of a kind experience, filled with challenging obstacles, breathtaking scenery, and an adventure at every turn! But words don’t do this experience justice; you have to see it to believe it!
