The Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board (OMREB) has released its housing report for March that includes a look forward as markets deal with economic uncertainty.

In March, between Revelstoke and Peachland, residential home sales totaled 551, which is up from February's 435 sales and almost on par with this time last year’s 545 units sold.

OMREB reports a big 45% jump month in new residential listings, with a total of 1,365 homes being listed in March.

However, real estate professionals are warning of a likely slowdown in the Okanagan market. 

"In the meantime, real estate professionals are still able to utilize technology-driven solutions to help accommodate these transactions during self- distancing precautions.”
