If you're heading out on the roads this weekend, keep in mind the forecast is calling for a chance of flurries with possible showers.
In true shoulder season fashion, the temperatures will continue to fluctuate for a period of time. Expect freezing temperatures that warm throughout the day, but can result in slippery conditions.
The Coquihalla Highway from Hope to Merrit is mainly cloudy with 40% chance of flurries and snow levels rising to 600 metres. Expect slippery sections on Highway 5 in both directions.

Highway 97C near Brenda Mine is resembling a winter wonderland, with snow, a chance of more flurries and a current temperature of -4.8 C, according to the Brenda Mine Weather Station. Expect compact snow with slippery sections from Pennask Summit to Brenda Mine Road Exit.

On you're way out of Kelowna and onto the Highway 97 C junction, you'll start to see wet conditions and a slight drop in temperature.
Expect limited visibility and dense fog at the junction, as well as on Hwy 97 towards Peachland.

Over the WR Bennett Bridge, again, expect a mix of sun and clouds. By Sunday, you could see winds from the south pick up to 40 km/h by noon.

Lake Country's road conditions are similar to Kelowna's—overcast with a chance of flurries or showers and a high of 5 C.

If you're heading up to Big White on Highway 33, expect compact and slippery conditions.
