When looking at the 1981 to 2010 Canadian Climate statistics, the month of October is the fourth driest month and the sixth coolest month. In 2019, October was only slightly cooler than seasonal with last month’s average high at 11.4°C, which is 2°C less than the climatic average.
Last month's average low was near par at 1.7°C, compared to the seasonal low of 1.3°C.
Our precipitation for last month was also standard. With seasonal amounts for October at 29.2 millimetre, we were within a few millimetres of that on the rain gauge. Unfortunately there was one day of missing data from our airport weather station on October 8, 2019, and because the historic radar on that day showed precipitation in the area, we are likely missing some data from last month’s total of 24.1 millimetre.

We will see sun and cloud to start off November, however a disturbance will bring increasing cloud this weekend.
