Groups of children and parents headed to City Park on Saturday to take their turn on the famed local attraction, Wibit Waterpark.
Though still fairly new to Kelowna, the 3-year-old inflatable waterpark has become quite the attraction bringing in people from ages 5 and up to enjoy a day on the beautiful Okanagan Lake.

For the second year in a row, Wibit will be donating all of the money from Saturday's sales to the KGH Foundation. Owner Riley Gallagher hopes to beat his record from last year of $1,500.00. "We want people to know that we care about the community and that we work with the community," said Gallagher. The team also plans to expand this event to the Penticton Wibit location to support the Penticton Regional Hospital.

Despite overcast skies, the waterpark was never empty, with children constantly bouncing around the obstacle course and making use of the inflatable water slide. If parents did not want to participate they could take a seat in the comfy and colourful beach chairs to keep an eye on their children while taking in Kelowna's scenery.
