It's the second weekend of July and it is going to be a busy weekend in Kelowna!

KelownaNow’s Savannah Bagshaw is back again to give you all the details on events happening this weekend in Kelowna and the Okanagan.

Kelowna will be filled with an extra amount of tourists this weekend as people have been travelling far and wide to take this years Center Of Gravity Festival. The festival will include incredible music from many top acts from different decades. Some tickets are still available so if you're interested in going to see your favorite artist or take in some sports, you can head to the C.O.G website. 

Looking to avoid the extra traffic this weekend? Take a day trip to Vernon this Saturday or Sunday to take in the Vintage Motorcycle Rally. A new an unique event that will be taking place on Saturday night is the Sugarplum Ball, featuring Mayor Sugarplum himself. This event will be filled with fun as you can see local celebrities transform into their drag personas. Tickets are still available here and will be available at the door. 

If you're looking for a fun event for your children to enjoy look no further than the Blossom and Buddies Garden event taking place this Saturday at the Lavendar and Herb Farm. Children can enjoy their favorite fairytales in the garden as well as many more activities.
