This year it was more than just Kelowna Yogi's participating, Oranj Fitness establishments in Castlegar, Grand Prairie and Fort Mcmurray also joined in.

"Our goal was to get 2,000 people flowing at the same time, doing the same thing, under the same sun," said Tina Mandl, one of the owners of Oranj Fitness Kelowna.

In the previous years, the events proceeds have been donated to the local food bank. This year, the money will go towards Oranj's local charity, "Matts for Metta," a charity that focuses on making yoga more easily accessible in our community.
