Candidate Nomination Packages for citizens wanting to put their name forward for Prince George City Council will be available for pickup Friday.
Packages are also available for download on the City of Prince George website.
Package information will include:
- Qualifications for office
- Key dates relevant to the election
- Nomination forms and documents
- Election advertising and campaign signage regulations
- Resources related to the Council Code of Conduct and relevant bylaws
- Resources related to campaign financing and disclosure statements
Prospect candidates have between 9 a.m. on Sept. 4, and 4 p.m. on Sept. 14, to submit their completed nomination packages to City Hall.
Campaign period begins Sept. 22, and the general voting day will take place on Oct. 20.
