A new poll has revealed where British Columbians put their trust when it comes to brand names.

The list carried some common themes, B.C. residents like to place trust in those feeding them, transporting them and looking after their well-being.

For the second year in a row, London Drugs has topped the list of most trusted brands and according to the survey company Ipsos, it’s for good reason.

“Trust is one of the biggest drivers of Brand Love, and people in BC feel like they can trust London Drugs. Because of its vast selection of items, people will visit the store frequently, which helps build trust," explained Ipsos’ Executive Vice President in Western Canada, Michael Rodenburgh.

 "And, because many people use their pharmacy and photo developing services, they are trusting London Drugs with their well-being and personal memories, which also strengthens the relationship.”

To conduct the study, Ipsos conducted a total of 1,301 interviews where respondents were asked to rate 65 brands based on a variety of dimensions.
