    UPDATE: Missing man from Nanaimo located safely

    (Update: July 4, 2023 @ 1:50pm): Nanaimo RCMP have confirmed that a 37-year-old man who was reported missing this morning has been located.

    Original story: July 4, 2023 @ 12:10pm) 

    The Nanaimo RCMP is asking the public for their assistance in locating 37-year-old Steven Beaulac-Poulin.

    Beaulac-Poulin was reported missing earlier today after he left his south end Nanaimo residence and based on information to date, there is concern for his safety and well-being.

    He is believed to be driving a 2004 Dodge 3500 with the BC License Plate # RY9611 according to Nanaimo RCMP.

    Police provided the following description of Steven:

    • Caucasian man
    • 6'1" (185 cm)
    • 175 lbs. (79kg)
    • Blue eyes
    • Brown hair

    If anyone knows the whereabouts of Steven Beaulac-Poulin, call 911 or the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345.
