N driver caught going 96 km/h in a 40 zone in Oak Bay

A young N driver was handed a hefty ticket after being caught speeding excessively in Oak Bay.

Oak Bay Police

Police said the driver, age 17, was clocked at 96 km/h in a 40 zone in the 900 block of Beach Drive.

The officer observed the speeding driver just after 11 pm.

He was issued an excessive speeding ticket of $368, and his vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days.
