This is some breaking news!

  • Mostly dry and mild day ahead for Kelowna

A dry and fairly mild day is ahead for Kelowna.

But NowMedia meteorologist Wesla English said a mix of snow and rain will return this evening.

“We will see a break from the precipitation today but rain and snow returns tonight,” she explained.

“With freezing levels just above the valley base, we will see mixed precipitation tonight in the valley, but snow on the mountains.

“The rain and snow will continue to fall intermittently over the next few days when multiple weather systems move onshore.”

She added: “Daytime highs will remain slightly above freezing for the rest of the week.”

Today’s high is expected to be 2ºC, while the low is expected to be -2ºC.
