The movies are shown on a giant inflatable cinema screen once the sun goes down.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to arrive early for the best possible viewing spot, as well as pre-show activities and concession.
There is no charge for the event, but donations of $3 per person or $10 for a family of four is suggested, with all funds raised benefiting the Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs.
“I hope everyone will take the opportunity to enjoy this unique movie experience with friends and family,” said Richelle Leckey from the Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs. “Proceeds from the event will help us raise funds to support the essential after school programs and service ensuring everyone has a safe place to belong where they can discover and achieve their dreams.”
Pre-show activities will start at 7 p.m. with the screenings beginning at dusk.
Patrons are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets to stay comfortable and warm.
