Kelowna is in for a real treat this weekend as the Traxxas Monster Truck Tour is taking over Prospera Place.

Featuring five of the most powerful monster trucks in the world, the event draws crowds of hundreds from all ages.

Converting Prospera’s clean ice rink into a dirt pit straight from the backcountry, the event brings hype to a whole new level with its unique environment.

From wheelies and races to freestyle competitions, these trucks and their drivers go all out to give the crowd a good time, smashing up cars in epic fashion along the way.

In addition to Trucks that weigh close to 10,000 lbs rip-roaring through the arena, two local XMX Motocross trick riders show off gravity-defying stunts while flying 30 feet in the air.

Following the event attendees can pay $10 for a rip in the “DOGEE” truck before heading out to the merchandise table.
