The reason behind the festive decor is more than just to get into the holiday spirit, it is Mission Hill's inaugural year of hosting the Festival of Trees.
A popular event hosted annually in Vancouver by the Four Season Hotels, the Festival of Trees is a fundraiser for the BC Children's Hospital that combines the fun of tree decorating and the generous nature of the holiday season.

The trees are each sponsored by local businesses and individuals and are decorated to the nines, each following a certain theme or colour scheme.

If you love Christmas or you have young ones, the Festival of Trees is a must see this holiday season.
Based on the great local support showed at the initial light up event, Proprietor of Mission Hill Family Estate, Anthony von Mandl, is already looking at making the Festival of Trees an annual event.
