  • Man suffers life-threatening injuries after assault in Prince George

    A man suffered life-threatening injuries after an assault in Prince George on Sunday morning.  

    He was taken to hospital and no update on his condition has yet been provided. 

    Police said they were called at about 9:40 am to an assault at a home in the 1200 block of Fifth Avenue. 

    When officers arrived at the scene, they found the injured man. 

    The RCMP said it believes the attack was targeted and there is no risk to the public.  

    Officers continue to investigate and search for the person or persons responsible.  

    It is a priority for the detachment, police said.  

    They ask that anyone that heard anything suspicious between 8 am and 9:40 am on the morning of May 3 contact the Prince George RCMP at (250) 561-3300 or Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 222-8477 or pgcrimestoppers.bc.ca
