  • Live it Now: Be Seen

Hello Friends! I experienced the most empowering weekend and must share. It’s amazing how everything can line up. Even a tiny ‘thought seed’ planted years ago that grows over time and flourishes. That saying, ‘be careful what you wish for’ couldn’t be truer. We really do manifest our truths and our fears. I am so pleased to have watered the truths. In no way does this mean it’s been easy tending that garden, it needed excessive weeding of self-doubt daily! If you feel a spark about something that turns embers into fire YOU MUST pursue it.

Living life in the Oxygen Studio has been wonderful for my love of fitness and yoga. I did not ever think myself a yogi as I’m not particularly ‘good’ at it (everyone is actually good at yoga, it’s a practice, not a perfection). My 200 YTT starts in May and I cannot wait to explore in more depth, what this incredible practice will reveal within myself. That being said, I was introduced to an addictive and soul-opening tribe called Buti Yoga. I was mesmerized after my first class and had to know more. It is my love of all things; soul work, strength building, primal/tribal dance, plyometrics and of course yoga. I took the plunge and signed up for the intense training. Little did I know it would open my heart to a place I didn’t believe could exist…Women empowering women, without expectations or judgements. I thought I’d walk in there as the oldest attendee feeling less than, and not worthy. We were all strangers on day one, with a deep need to connect to something bigger. We left on Sunday … sisters… a tribe… my heart is still glowing. I am so proud of us. We are remarkable humans. Men are welcome and encouraged to let go as we are, yet this undeniable need to be with other women where I felt completely safe was so foreign to me. I let down the walls, I breathed through my heart… and felt everything! Undeniably … exhausting… beautiful… difficult… expansive… Buti bliss is a real thing… community/tribe love is a necessary part of the wellness journey. Diving even deeper into the yoga practice is a vulnerable place to be. Thank you to my Buti sisters for helping me see and FEEL that it’s ok to be seen … completely seen. WOW! So much gratitude. That little seed planted so long ago… the desire to find a soft place to land, to yell, and laugh… dance and sweat, to bring my body to elation through shared movement. It’s undeniable. The word Buti literally means: ‘to cure something that is hidden’. We are evolving together… so honoured to be part of it.  Life is truly beautiful when we find safe spaces to share and be held. It’s your life… it’s waiting… live it now!
