The Kelowna Fan Experience has returned for its fifth year in downtown Kelowna.

Back and bigger than ever, about 4,500 attendees are expected throughout the weekend, according to Bonnie Gratz, artistic director of KFX 2018.

The event is conquering the cultural district, with festivities commencing at the Kelowna Community Theatre, Rotary Centre for the Arts and Kelowna Public Library.

Cosplayers and lovers of all things pop-culture are in for a real treat upon purchasing a ticket. With celebrity guest panels, cosplay competitions, a vendor alley, gaming corners and performances—it's all happening right through to Sunday.

New this year is the Retro Lounge located in the Black Box Theatre. The space offers a cozy hangout environment for all, with classic 80's movies, vinyl records and vintage gaming on repeat.
