  • Kelowna will see some sunshine over the next few days

    There’s some good news and bad news when it comes to Kelowna’s forecast over the next four or five days.

    The good news is that the sun is expected to come out after what feels like ages under grey skies.

    The bad news is that it’s going to get really, really cold.

    A mix of sun and cloud is expected each day from Wednesday through Sunday, with a small chance of flurries for Wednesday and Thursday.

    Wednesday’s overnight low is -7°C and it’s not expected to get back up to freezing on Thursday, with a high of -2°C.

    The temperature will stay close to freezing until Friday night, when it’s expected to dip all the way down to -8°C for the start of a cold weekend.

    Saturday and Sunday’s highs are -4°C and -6°C respectively and it’ll dip close to -10°C both nights.

    It’ll get back to overcast skies with a small chance of flurries in time for Christmas on Monday and the cold weather is supposed to stick around until the new year.
