Kelowna’s Volim Valley Music Festival canceled due to wildfires

The inaugural Volim Valley Music Festival scheduled for the Okanagan Valley September 9th and 10th has been canceled due to wildfire concern.

Volim Valley was set to be hosted at Heartland Ranch, which is a 175 acre historic Okanagan site just 10 minutes outside of Kelowna en route to Big White.

It's a logical decision considering B.C.'s current extreme fire danger, but disappointing none the less as the festival featured tons of local talent and support.

Stickybuds, Wild Son, Devon Coyote and Joshua Smith were just some of the great local musicians scheduled to play at the festival.

Organizers have said they plan to go ahead with the festival in 2018.
