There aren’t many places where it only takes a short drive and quick hike to find yourself in the presence of a majestic waterfall, but Kelowna is one of them. It’s no wonder this city is considered heaven for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers!
If you’re planning to go chasing waterfalls this year, here is a little more information about Kelowna’s very best, as voted by you!
Gold: Fintry Falls
Fintry Provincial Park up Westside Road is home to a campsite, hiking trails and a few beautiful falls. You can learn more about the hike up to Fintry Falls here.
Hikers can even take a refreshing dip in the waterfall’s large pool, or take a ride down the natural waterslide! It’s a natural playground just waiting to be explored.
Silver: Bear Creek Falls
Another Westside gem, Bear Creek is a popular hiking and waterfall-chasing spot. A combination of trails and wooden staircases offers several vantage points of Bear Creek Falls.
If you’re feeling adventurous, you can leave the trail and get up close and personal with the waterfall and go for a swim. But do so carefully, and do not attempt during high waters.
Bronze: Crawford Falls
Crawford Falls, also known as Canyon Creek Falls is like a little slice of paradise at the end of a large subdivision in the Mission. Just a short hike will offer beautiful views of the falls.

While some people choose to venture right down into the falls, it’s also enjoyable to continue hiking along the paths to see what else the area has in store.
