As we anxiously await the arrival of patio season, we thought we should prepare by learning a little more about some of Kelowna’s best patios, as voted by you!
Gold: Smack Dab
With a spacious patio, beautiful views of the lake and consistently awesome food, it’s no surprise that Smack Dab made the top of the list. Their patio is so close to the Okanagan Lake that, as they claim, “any closer and you would be swimming”.
Smack Dab’s patio is comfortable, offers lots of room and has a great atmosphere whether you’re looking to enjoy brunch with friends or have a romantic date night near the water. The menu is filled with tasty items including vegetarian and gluten-free options, and they offer an impressive 12 craft beers on tap.
Silver: Hotel Eldorado
Hotel Eldorado is the perfect patio if you’re looking to enjoy a classy meal on the lake. Just up the road from Smack Dab, Hotel Eldorado boasts similarly beautiful lake and mountain views, with a boardwalk-style patio right by their marina.
The award-winning restaurant and wine list are sure to impress, especially with so many farm to table ingredients included in the dishes!
Bronze: Cactus Club Cafe
The new Cactus Club Cafe location in the Yacht Club has been an awesome addition to downtown Kelowna’s patio scene. Cactus Club’s open-concept restaurant means almost every seat in the restaurant gets a lovely lake view, and patrons can enjoy all the benefits of a patio while still being protected from the Kelowna heat.
Consistent food, tasty drinks and great happy hour deals make Cactus Club Cafe a Kelowna summer must-stop.
