Strangely addictive, AdVenture Capitalist, created by a Kelowna company, Hyper Hippo, is Facebook's Instant 2017 Game Of The Year.

Facebook made the announcement today, calling AdVenture Capitalist “simple, yet addictive."

“We offer players the ability to make more money than they could ever imagine and do so in only a couple minutes a day,” said Lance Priebe, Hyper Hippo Productions CEO. “We are very thrilled with this award, as we think Facebook Instant is going to be the fastest-growing game platform in 2018."

A player's quest for world domination begins by clicking on the Lemonade Stand progress bar in an attempt to grow an empire as the world’s best capitalist.

As the game progresses, a player is able to hire employees, expand their business to new markets and attract eager Angel Investors to boost profits, all in an attempt to be the richest person in the world!

"We see immense opportunity in the platform and our publishing company, Screenzilla Entertainment, has made it a priority to launch several games on the platform this year,” added Priebe.

Idle gaming is where the game continues to evolve in real time. Hyper Hippo has acknowledged the growing popularity of this type of gaming and has catered to its audience through AdVenture Capitalist.
