Kelowna business evacuated due to possible gas leak

Employees at one Kelowna office building had an unexpected morning when they were evacuated due to a suspected gas leak.

The Kelowna Fire Department got to the scene at 653 Harvey Ave. at about 11:15 a.m. and got all the workers out.

FortisBC came to assess the situation to see if going back in would pose any risk.

According to the Fire Department, the issue was resolved within an hour.
