Kelowna-based bike shop BikeWays is looking to add new members to their team.
The social enterprise founded by Pathways Abilities Society, specializes in repairing and refurbishing pre-loved bicycles of all kinds.

Through their work, BikeWays is able to offer the community an affordable and environmentally-friendly option for two-wheeled transportation.
With the support of the Kelowna RCMP, Kelowna Landfill and various property management groups, BikeWays is always getting new fleets of bikes to repair — keeping their staff and volunteers quite busy.
One of the shop’s top priorities, aside from providing wonderful service, is to offer a comfortable, exciting and engaging place for Pathways clients with diverse-abilities to work, learn and gain independence.

The self-sustaining operation is also unique in that all of the funds garnered through sales and repairs go directly back to shop staff and to Pathways to help bolster the various programs it offers within the community.
To enhance the experience of guests and quality of work, BikeWays is hoping to welcome more regularly scheduled volunteers, two-part time staff members and eventually, two summer students.
