If you’re hoping to get to know the Kamloops byelection candidates a little better, tonight’s all-candidates forum will be your best opportunity. The media-sponsored forum is set for tonight at the Sagebrush Theatre, starting at 6 p.m.

Admission is free and the forum will include brief presentations from all council candidates and a one-hour forum with all six mayoral candidates. It is presented by CFJC, Kamloops This Week and CBC Kamloops.

General voting will take place on September 30th, with advance voting open September 20th, September 21st and September 27th. Voters will elect a new mayor and two new city councillors to serve the remainder of the council term, ending in fall 2018.
