Kamloops City Council met on Tuesday where they approved another pair of Retail Cannabis Sales Licence Applications to businesses in the city. 

The two locations vying for a permit are located on 726 Sydney Avenue and 320 Victoria Street.

Though Councillor Denis Walsh excused himself from the decision, the six other councilors in attendance and Mayor Ken Christian all voted to approve the decision. 

The Sydney Avenue location had 69 letters of support and one against it while the Victoria Street location had nothing. 

It is now up to the province to review and decide whether these applications go through.
