If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select and why?
It would be a toss up between Pope Francis or the Dali Lama.
If you were to receive any existing public award, what award would you like to win?
I really believe in team on all levels which would mean receiving an award for or with a team in any kind of Humanitarian service award.
If you could spend a day with any historical figure, who would you choose and why?
Sir William Wallace
Who inspires you?
My mother, who in all my life has stood by me, she has always, always always seen the good in everyone and to this day I have never ever heard her complain. If I can even be a little like her, I will have been successful.
What are three things on your bucket list?
I truly don’t have a bucket list. If I had to pick perhaps my husband and I being on the Amazing Race, my entire family being on a vacation somewhere hot and visiting New York.
If you had an enormous yacht, what would you name it?
Our Katepwa Beach
If you could foresee a single day of your future in its entirety, what date would you select?
The day that my Husband, myself, my three children, and their spouses, and their children, were all off on a holiday together.
What are you passionate about?
Life!
What has been your favourite day of your life, up to this point?
I have three favorite days, that being the day that each of my children were born.
What has been your proudest accomplishment?
Producing and raising three awesome children.
Where is your favourite place to dine in Kelowna? What do you like about it?
The Cactus Club is my favorite. The food, atmosphere, and the service is fantastic.
What is your favourite activity or event in Kelowna? Why?
My favorite activity is putting our boat in the lake for the summer, and staying on it. It is peaceful, beautiful, and absolutely fun.

I am a Licensed Family Day Care

What is your mission?
My mission is to provide excellent day care for children. In order that their parents may go to work knowing that their children are getting the best of care.
If you could achieve one thing within your field, what would it be?
To teach people that it’s the differences in people that make us all beautiful.
Where do you want your business/organization to be in five years?
Right here where I am, continuing to strive to teach kids. I believe in Barbara Colorso saying “everything kids really need to know they learn before they go to school.”
What three qualities do you feel that your business/organization exemplifies?
A Love for Children, Respect for the Children and their families, and a wealth of knowledge.
What would you like to say to your employees/volunteers?
I would like to say not only to my employees but to all the families that entrust their most prized possessions to me…..THANK YOU
How does your business/organization impact the community?
Yes by providing families with working parents, the knowledge that while they are at work, they do not need to worry about their children. I also do all my activities, shopping for groceries, and arts and crafts in the Kelowna community.
If you were trapped in an elevator with several wealthy investors from any field, which field would you want them to be experts in? What would say to them/talk about?
I would love to be trapped in an elevator with Pope Francis, Justin Trudeau and William and Kate. I would simply be talking to them about their investment into the world.
If I could change one thing about Kelowna, it would be:
The traffic on Gordon Drive from Clement to Harvey Avenue.
What do you think makes Kelowna great?
The Okanagan lake.
