What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?
Well, this is tough because I literally do embarrassing things every day. BUT one time I was photographing a wedding and we were on a dock and I totally fell into the lake! I saved my camera but wow, I was cold!
What is the most inspiring thing that has happened to you?
When I graduated high school I volunteered in an orphanage in Ecuador, South America. I was there for a total of five months and I specialized with special needs children. It was so amazing and heart wrenching and I haven't been the same since. I came home feeling lucky and inspired and wanting to make a change.
Tell us your favourite childhood memory.
I grew up in a BIG family with seven children. We were always up to no good, but some of my favourite memories are big family bike rides with lots of tears and laughter and scraped knees.
Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?
I volunteer at the hospital when needed, to offer photographic services to families suffering with the loss of an infant. It is a truly important service that I am happy our local hospital offers.
If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
I just wish that everyone loved each other the way people deserve to be loved.
Where would you sneak away to in Kamloops to spend some time alone?
I love sipping coffee at the art we are!

Why did you get into/start this business?
Like a lot of photographers, I’ve loved photography for as long as I can remember, but I got my first DSLR camera in 2008 when I went solo backpacking across South America. I loved the idea of documenting emotions in amazing and everyday events.
What is the goal of your business?
I want to capture all the love in single moments.
What has been your biggest struggle either at work or in life?
Balance is a struggle I think a lot of people have, including myself!
What do you always find yourself saying?
"wow that was awkward, I'm sorry."
Tell us your best piece of life advice.
This is it, this is the only life you get. Live the way you want to and friggin' stand by it.
If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select?
Well, the fan-girl in me says that I should probably pick one of the Kardashians, but the realist in me says I would love to just spend a whole day with my mom having lunch and getting pedicures and buying plants (she lives in Alberta).
