If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select and why?
Anyone who is part of the one per cent elite group of successful people in the world. To watch them live out their values and see them making goals and decisions in everyday life, to learn the key to success.
If you were to receive any existing public award, what award would you like to win?

If you could spend a day with any historical figure, who would you choose and why?
Elizabeth Arden. To study how she successfully applied a niche cosmetic market into a feminine deprived era.
Who inspires you?
Anyone who is battered and bruised by life and gets up to shake the dirt off and try again to reach their visions and goals.
What are three things on your bucket list?
Hike the West Coast Trail, travel Europe and India, and build and live in an Earth-ship home.
If you had an enormous yacht, what would you name it?
"Altavista" – which means easy life.
If you could foresee a single day of your future in its entirety, what date would you select?
The day that Kelowna cuts the red ribbon on the new Community University of Conscious Wellness. An education system that entails the four pillars of human existence (Beauty, Body, Mind, and Family – Spiritual, Physical, Mental and Emotional). The facility contains every form of practitioner from the diverse fields of human care, who have collaborated and developed a multifaceted education program that has been enhanced with worldwide knowledge. This is the system that will aid in the unconditional support of personal development for every individual who is choosing to grow out of their limits and boundaries.
What are you passionate about?
I love to bring out the best in people. I use hair styling as a vehicle to bring self-love and appreciation to one's inner being. Changing the community one smile at a time.
What has been your favourite day of your life, up to this point?
The day I learned and accepted that I don't have to do it alone. Collaboration and team work comforts me to trust in the knowing that we are "better together."
What has been your proudest accomplishment?
Successfully operating and sustaining a home-based business for almost nine years.
Where is your favourite place to dine in Kelowna? What do you like about it?
Yamato sushi restaurant. There is so much Asian cultural diversity on the menu that one's choice is never limited or repetitive.
What is your favourite activity or event in Kelowna? Why?
I really enjoy the Taste of Kelowna festival that happens annually in downtown Kelowna. It is the best way to get a friendly introduction to the new and old food businesses in the down town core. Great community collaboration!

To create a Universal Beauty Code (education system).
If you could achieve one thing within your field, what would it be?
A focus on inner beauty and the practice of uniting mind, spirit and heart.
If you were to receive any existing public award, what award would you like to win?

Where do you want your business/organization to be in five years?
In five years I will be operating a hair school that is running the first prototype of the Universal Beauty Code curriculum, here in Kelowna. Creating the world’s first wave of Conscious Stylists that will lead our community into harmony.
What three qualities do you feel that your business/organization exemplifies?
-holding space for clients to feel safe and vulnerable to express themselves
-attention on self-love and self-appreciation
-engaging clients to ask themselves the big questions out of life. (who am I, what is my purpose, what makes me happy?…)
What would you like to say to your employees/volunteers?
I have utmost respect and appreciation for all of your time and commitment. Thank you for your heart and soul.
How does your business/organization impact the community?
The value I hold most present when a client comes into my home and sits in my chair is "goodness". It allows an opening of the heart, creating the space for them to relax and trust that they are in good hands. I feel that I impact the community with one smile at a time. Smiles are contagious, so my goal and intention is to infect our whole community with people who make one another smile and feel great inside about themselves.
What is the best part of operating in our city?
The best part of operating in Kelowna is that we are surrounded with people who take pride in their presence and are conscious of their public image. It is the perfect place to build a hub of personal wellness.
What has been your proudest accomplishment?
My proudest accomplishment is owning my own home-based business for almost nine years now. And creating a name for myself that is recognized as quality service and ultimate compassion for one's transformation.
If you were trapped in an elevator with several wealthy investors from any field, which field would you want them to be experts in? What would say to them/talk about?
An investor from the health and metaphysical field. I would ask them questions of what sorts of studies have been created to measure and understand the connection of our nervous system with our internal and external energy field. I would inquire on what sorts of implications they are making to extort all of the toxic chemicals in our foods and environment and products. I would listen to all of the interesting dimensions of his field of expertise and soak up the wisdom and knowledge.

If I could change one thing about our city, it would be:
The "Old Boys Club" mentality. I feel this keeps our community under the control and manipulation of an anarchy of greed.
What do you think makes our city great?
All the beaches and parks and beautiful hiking trails and wine tours around the Okanagan.
