Meet Kris! He's also known as Santa Claus and is absolutely overjoyed with Christmas cheer.

Where are you from and how long have you lived in Kelowna?
Well the North Pole, of course! I do not live in Kelowna. Kelowna was actually my final stop on Chrismas eve, and rather than heading back North, I decided to stay a few nights in this beautiful city.
Who is your favourite person to spend time with and why?
Mrs. Claus. She bakes the best cookies (I never get sick of cookies, even after all of the goodies I eat on Christmas eve!)
What is your favourite local store in Kelowna and why?
In my opinion, the best shop is my toy factory in the North Pole! My elves are so hardworking I can barely keep up with them.
Describe yourself in one word.
Jolly.
If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
Only because I'm always so chilly at home in the North Pole, I'd love to spend some time in Hawaii to warm up. I'm sure I could benefit from some Vitamin D!
What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?
That one time that the Grinch stole all of the Christmas presents I had delivered! That was awfully embarrassing! Thankfully, he gave them back and all of the good boys and girls were given the toys they deserved. P.S., The Grinch and I are on good terms now.
What is the most inspiring thing that has happened to you?
I am inspired by my reindeer. I honestly do not know how they do it. Every Christmas Eve I am amazed that they can carry the weight of myself and my massive sack of toys.

If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
I would have children pick up their presents at specific locations, rather than my reindeer and I having to deliver to every. single. child. in one night! It's exhausting!
What do you think makes Kelowna great?
It's a great, cozy city for me to put up my feet after a long Christmas season.

Tell us something that not everyone may know about you.
On Halloween, I dress up as myself.
What has been your biggest struggle either at work or in life?
My biggest struggle is definitely the amount of sugar that I take in throughout this time of year. My Santa suit is getting pretty tight.
What do you always find yourself saying?
Happy Halloween! Just kidding, it's "HO HO HO!"
Tell us your best piece of life advice.
Be jolly all year round, not just around the holidays. Life is so precious, make sure you celebrate each day!
If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select?
I would really like to speak to the Easter Bunny and talk to him about how he manages to stay so trim while eating all that chocolate!
