My mom, because she keeps me from going crazy.

What is your favourite local store in Kamloops and why?
Definitely Far + Wide, because they have such cute and locally sourced stuff!

    Describe yourself in one word.
    Caring.

If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
Bali! Top of the bucket list.

What is your favourite activity in Kamloops?

What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?
Last summer I faceplanted in front of everyone on the dance floor at a wedding reception. Oops.

What is the most inspiring thing that has happened to you?
We moved around a lot when I was growing up, and I think getting to live in a variety of environments and be apart of different communities across Canada was super inspiring, and gave me a more open take on life.

Tell us your favourite childhood memory.
In summer, wiping out on the tube, and in winter, having big dinners with extended family at Christmas.

Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?
Last year I took part in a volunteer peer tutoring program, as well as spent some time at the food bank and shelter.

If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
I think, particularly right now, the world could use a little more kindness. A small act can go a long way, and start a chain reaction!

    The people, hands down.

What are 3 things on your bucket list?

To create images that capture stories and that people can look back on with a smile.

What has been your biggest struggle either at work or in life?

What do you always find yourself saying?
That "I didn't come this far, to only come this far." Reminds me to not give up and to push through, even when I doubt myself.

Tell us your best piece of life advice.
Life's too short to not do what makes you happy.

If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select?
I would like to spend a day with Ashley Kerrin, my best friend who lives a whole province away. It's been way too long!

You get to give back to the community and build a relationship.
