If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select and why?
If I could spend one day with anyone alive, it would probably be Megan Currie, the yogi. I love the way she articulates the intrinsic connection between movement and breath, and would love to spend the day moving poetically through postures in the jungle.
If you were to receive any existing public award, what award would you like to win?
If I could receive any existing public award of choice, it would be Nobel Peace Prize for the philanthropic, generation changing legacy I leave.
If you could spend a day with any historical figure, who would you choose and why?
I would spend the day with Einstein. I’m secretly a physics nerd.
Who inspires you?
So many people inspire me! I’m so thankful for the women in my life, each with something of great value to share, my friends, mama’s, my husband, my kids. Just about every single person in my life for one reason or another.
What are three things on your bucket list?
Three things on my bucket list: Live abroad with my children: check! Start a company: check! Build a non-profit foundation.
If you had an enormous yacht, what would you name it?
If I had an enormous yacht for pleasure I would name it the Yoni. If I had an enormous yacht for hunting shark finners, I would name it Karma Zabich.
If you could foresee a single day of your future in its entirety, what date would you select?
If I could foresee a single day in my future, it would be my 50th birthday. I hope to be fabulous, accomplished, and to have helped so many people realize their personal potential.
What are you passionate about?
I’m passionate about so many things; personal growth through spirituality, yoga and nutrition, a holistic, balanced and conscious approach to living. I’m passionate about witnessing my own children bloom into independent persons and supporting them however that looks. And I’m so, so passionate that this lifetime should be enjoyable, full of adventure, laughter, wrong-turns, snuggles and coffee.
What has been your favourite day of your life, up to this point?
I have three favorite days, the birth of each of my little people. As cliché as it may sound, they really are the nucleus of my universe.
What has been your proudest accomplishment?
Definitely the most enjoyable so far has been the juice biz, creating from scratch, an idea or vision and watching it flourish and be well received. It is so cool!
What is your favourite activity or event in Kelowna? Why?
My fav activity in Kelowna is anything outside: by the lake or up a mountain, trails, banks and ravines, mini cactus’s, snakes and secret nudie beaches, all in our own backyard.
What is the name of your business/organization?
The name of our business is Alchemy.
What does your business/organization do?
We are the first company in Kelowna to manufacture and distribute raw, cold-pressed, high-viben juice. In less than a year, we have grown from a home-based business, to distributing high quality, consistently fresh and delicious juice at 3 different retailers. We value every aspect of the process, from the growth of the produce to the labeling of the bottle. Each juice requires a lot of Love to make. What is your mission?
Our mission is to create beautiful juice. It is to support transformation by connecting to our personal bodies, with reverence, through nourishment. And it is always a part of something much more grand than we can ever know.
If you could achieve one thing within your field, what would it be?
If I could achieve anything in the juice field, it would be a continuous flow of energy, from the garden to the juicer, to the customer. Partial proceeds of this fresh and delicious juice would go to The Alchemy Project: a non-profit foundation that gives back to the community through donations, building infrastructure or upgrading schools to be inspiring places to learn. It would be living in synergy with the community and natural world around us.
Where do you want your business/organization to be in five years?
In five years, we’ll have established ourselves as a quality and integral brand by maintaining an innovative and consistent product. We’ll have a beautiful juice bar, maybe two. I have a feeling we’re going to build something really cool and non-juice related, so stay tuned!!
Who do you consider to be a forerunner within your field?
I would say Juice Generation in New York is killing it with a ton of locations, celeb endorsement and trendy, new ingredients all the time!
What three qualities do you feel that your business/organization exemplifies?
My hope is Balance, Truth and Love. Balance is key; juice and cookies. Yoga and a movie. Salad and wine. Truth because it’s not always rainbows and sunshine, and that’s ok! Other times it’s f***ing delicious, and that’s ok too. And the whole is sprinkled in love, every moment of it, and it shows.
If you were trapped in an elevator with several wealthy investors from any field, which field would you want them to be experts in? What would say to them/talk about?
If I were trapped in an elevator with my dream experts in any field, they would be a sculptor, philosopher, physicist, medicine man, adventurer, farmer and a comedian.
If I could change one thing about Kelowna, it would be:

What do you think makes Kelowna great?
Aside from the beautiful rolling hills and expansive lake, the laid-back locals and charming downtown core, Kelowna rocks because it’s an energetic supercenter having just the right coordinates to sustain a really nice vibe to live in.
