Where are you from and how long have you lived in Kelowna?
Originally from Ottawa and have lived in Kelowna since 2014
Who is your favourite person to spend time with and why?
Depends on who is feeding me at the time.
What is your favourite local store in Kelowna and why?
Hard to pick just one but I prefer independents like Sunshine Pet Supplies or Tail Blazers.
Describe yourself in one word.
Relaxed
If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
Outside because I'm not allowed out in the evenings when it is dark.
What is your favourite activity in Kelowna?
Napping in my cat hammock, of course.
What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?
Enjoying a belly rub so much that I rolled down the stairs in front of the neighbours.
What is the most inspiring thing that has happened to you?
Becoming the spokes model for Kelowna's own Purrfect Catbird Seat.
Tell us your favourite childhood memory.
Being adopted when I was one years old from the Ottawa Humane Society.
Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?
A portion of our hammock sales goes to the BC SPCA.
Where would you sneak away to in Kelowna to spend some time alone?
Probably in the overgrown field behind our house.
What do you think makes Kelowna great?
Its purrfect location – nestled by the lake and surrounded by beautiful mountains.
What are 3 things on your bucket list?
– Being voted as one of the 10 ten famous cats on Instagram
– Take another nap
– Try hammock camping outside with my family

I like to "help" my human brother deliver his newspapers.

Why did you get into/start this business?
To fill a gap in the market for a stylish alternative to those carpet-covered cat scratching towers.
What is the goal of your business?
For every cat to enjoy their own hammock and steps.
What has been your biggest struggle either at work or in life?
Deciding to either go out or come inside, particularly when in the middle of a doorway.
If you could start all over again would you do things the same or would things be different?
No regrets.

Stay curious. Life's too mysterious to take too serious.
If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select?
Jackson Galaxy (a.k.a. the Cat Daddy). He is the author of bestselling books about cats and a process called "catification" involving creating cat-friendly spaces within a home.
Why do you think it is important to shop locally?
Good for the environment and good for our economy.
What has been your proudest accomplishment?
Being adored by my family.
