Who is your favourite person to spend time with and why?
My family. I have a wife and three amazing kids. They are my pride and joy.
What is your favourite local store in Prince George and why?
Theory Hardware. I like unique things.
Describe yourself in one word.
Optimistic.
If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
The Philippines. There are so many islands to explore.
What is your favourite activity in Prince George?
I love being outside. Camping, hiking, hunting, snowshoeing… It is all so accessible in PG
Tell us your favourite childhood memory.
Family road trips in summer. I remember the first time I got to see the rocky mountains on a trip to Jasper and Calgary. I will never forget the feeling of awe as we explored that area for the first time.
Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?
We currently donate money and/or services to local charities. We were able to help out with two homes for Habitat for Humanity when there were still around, and we recently worked on the Hospice Dream Home lottery house. This year we are going to be heavily involved with the "Pay it forward, Welcome Home" project where a deserving family will be given a brand new house free of charge!
If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
This world could use a lot more positivity and a lot less hate.
Where would you sneak away to in Prince George to spend some time alone?
Ideally on a mountaintop…but anywhere in the wilderness works for me.
Where would you like to see positive change in Prince George and why?
Although I do think the downtown has come a long way in the last few years, I would like to see it keep improving. That would include better support for the homeless people.
What do you think makes Prince George great?
I do believe we have a strong sense of community here. Most people like to support local businesses and give back to the community.
What are 3 things on your bucket list?
1) go scuba diving (even though I am a terrible swimmer)
2) learn to fly a plane
3) see the world

What is the name of your business/organization?
Primus Electric Inc.
Why did you get into/start this business?
My previous job as an electrician kept me out of town for months at a time. Once I started having kids, I wanted to be closer to home. I was not looking to start a business, but an opportunity presented itself so I jumped in with both feet.
What is the goal of your business?
To provide our customers with a quality installation or service.
If you could start all over again would you do things the same or would things be different?
Honestly, I would do certain things differently. Some lessons are learned the hard way.
What do you always find yourself saying?
It is what it is.

Be honest with yourself.
If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select?
Elon Musk. Maybe on the same day that he sends another car into space.
Why do you think it is important to shop locally?
It keeps the money in our local community.
