UPDATE: Hwy 97 reopens north of Peachland following a vehicle rollover

(UPDATE: April 21 @ 10:55 am): The earlier vehicle incident north of Peachland has been cleared.

Residents are encouraged to travel with caution.

(ORIGINAL STORY: April 21 @ 9:45 am): Residents looking to travel between Kelowna and Peachland should be aware of a closure on Hwy 97.

According to Drive BC, a vehicle rollover has the highway closed in both directions between Princeton Avenue and 13th Street.

At this point, an assessment is in progress and detours are available. There have been no words yet on if there were any injuries due to the incident.

The next update is scheduled for 10:15 am. NowMedia will update the story with more information.
