Hwy 1 to close between Sicamous and Revelstoke for avalanche control

Residents headed east should be aware of a closure on Hwy 1 this afternoon.

According to Drive BC, "avalanche control activities" will close the highway between noon and 2 pm.

The closure is to take place between Sicamous and Revelstoke. No detours will be available during the activities.
