UPDATE: Hwy 1 down to single lane east of Revelstoke after vehicle incident

(Update: March 26 @ 6:47 am): Hwy 1 is now open to single-lane traffic, Drive BC said.

Drivers are warned to expect delays.

The next update is scheduled for 8 am.

(Original story: March 26 @ 5:47 am): The Trans-Canada Highway has been closed in both directions after a vehicle incident east of Revelstoke.

Drive BC expects the road to reopen by about 6:30 am.

The incident occurred between Woolsey Creek Bridge and Albert Canyon Road.
