Following a Giants score, the Rockets responded with a Jacob Henderson goal that was deflected off a defender and into the Vancouver net.
The Rockets then got some help from the Giants in the form of a power play at the beginning of the second period to make it 3-1.
Kelowna continued to attack the net and Tij Iginla broke through in the third period to make it 4-1.
The Giants got a power play goal late in the game before Wetsch sealed the win for Kelowna with an empty net score.
Josh Banini was named the first star of the game as he only allowed two goals on 33 shots.
The Rockets will now have a couple of days to rest before taking on the Penticton Vees on Wednesday.
