After the Stranger Things buzz to end 2025, the first month of 2026 is relatively quiet for Netflix releases.

Despite a lesser volume than you might be used to with the streaming service, there are still a few notable shows, movies, documentaries and more on the way in January.

The Rip is one of just three Netflix original films being released in January, but it’s a big one as it stars Matt Damon and Ben Affleck as Miami cops.

If you’re looking for a series to sink your teeth into, Bridgerton returns for season four in the new year, but you’ll have to wait a little bit because part one doesn’t come out until Jan. 29.

Believe it or not, there’s only one new documentary coming out next month, but it should be an interesting one as it takes a look at the famous Elizabeth Smart case. 

Wrestling fans can also look forward to Monday nights in January, as WWE Raw will make its Netflix debut on Jan. 6 and air weekly from that point on. WWE SmackDown and WWE NXT also air live on Jan. 2 and Jan. 6 respectively.
